Stussy has been a long-time collaborator for The Swoosh and the brands that fall under its umbrella, first linking up with the company in 2000 with the Huarache silhouette. Over 20 years later, the back catalog between the two has grown, with 2022 hosting multiple packs of Air Max 2013s, AF1s, and the Converse Chuck 70 Hi and One Star Ox. Now, another Chuck 70 Hi was able to fly under the radar all year as the Stussy Surfman is landing on the latest collaborative pair.
Covered entirely in hemp canvas across the upper, typical black and white accents appear throughout the silhouette. On the toe, white rubber meets with the aforementioned hemp canvas, dressed entirely in bright pink, while the nearby metal eyestays host a set of black flat laces. Stussy redesigns the “All-Star” logo atop the tongue to feature the same star design seen on their black Chuck Hi. The lateral side features the famous Stussy Surfman logo in black, while the medial side keeps things monochromatic, getting dressed in the same pink hemp canvas as the rest of the upper. The white vulcanized rubber midsole finishes the design paired with a gum rubber outsole underneath.
The Stussy x Converse Chuck 70 Hi Surfman was originally released on September 1st, 2022, through Stussy, Nike, SNKRS, Converse, and select retailers online and in-store. It is set to restock on December 4, 2023, through Converse. The retail price is set at $110 in men's sizing.
