For Nike and their subsidiaries, some of their biggest and most prolific collaborators will often have a handful of releases per year, see Travis Scott, A Ma Maniere, and Supreme. The latter of these three has for decades been a go-to option for the Swoosh when it comes down to skate-oriented shoes or classics like the AF1. Finally getting an official announcement after months of rumors, the Supreme x Nike SB Blazer Mid is making its first return since the 2006 release.
Coming to us in two colorways, a blacked-out quilted leather and classic blue denim with the same quilted details, the silhouette maintains its skate-ready redesign with the internal tech ready for the board. Co-branding between Supreme and Nike appears via the tongue tag with its golden touches, and the split logo insole in the iconic red and white Supreme is famous for. Along the midfoot, both pairs feature a golden tan and black faux snakeskin Swoosh that runs back to the Supreme engraved D-Ring tab on the heel. Tonal laces and sockliners help keep a semi-monochromatic look alive for both pairs while the Zoom Air cushioned rubber midsole and outsole on the quilted denim colorway deviate, coming in all-white. Special co-branded hangtags round out the design.
The Supreme x Nike SB Blazer Mid in the Quilted Leather and Quilted Denim colorway is slated to release worldwide, sans Japan, on September 8th, 2022 exclusively through Supreme while the Land of The Rising Sun will have to wait until September 10th to purchase a pair. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
