TEDxPortland is Offering 13 Pairs of Nike Air Max 90s Through a Scavenger Hunt
Published
TEDx has allowed speakers across the globe to present ideas to crowds and an online audience of millions. However, this is technically an offshoot of the TED Talks you find from famous intellectuals and celebrities. TEDxPortland is lucky to be located near the headquarters of Nike, which has produced limited edition pairs of sneakers for the event multiple times. Following up on the 10th Anniversary Air Force 1 from 2022, TEDxPortland will release a special Air Max 90 that can be won through a scavenger hunt.
The pair of sneakers come coated in a mixture of purple, black, red, blue, and cream, with the theme of the event and the shoes centered around “continuum,” essentially the idea of an unbroken and ongoing cycle. Along the toebox sits a wave grid pattern similar to the one found on the poster for this year’s event, while we see black hits present on the TPU eyelets and tongue.

Cream panels on the mudguard and midfoot contrast the pops of blue surrounding the profile and collar, the red of the Swoosh and TEDxPortland logo, and the purple on the top eyelet and heel tab. Final details include the number 13 on the medial side, marking the 13th year of the event, and the tagline “Ideas Worth Spreading” on the lateral side.
As for how to cop the TEDxPortland x Nike Air Max 90 Continuum, you’ll need to participate in an in-person scavenger hunt in Portland, Oregon, on April 5, 2025. First, you must sign up for the event, and then on the 5th, clues and information on what billboards you need to find and what you need to post to enter the giveaway will be revealed. Only 13 winners will be selected, and participants will have until April 11 to complete the tasks. Click here for a complete list of rules and to sign up for the scavenger hunt.
