With the 2024-2025 NBA season just weeks away, news about footwear signings and signature shoes have dominated the headlines. Alongside Puma debuting Scoot Henderson’s second signature sneaker, Nick DePaula has reported that Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton has signed a multi-year deal with Puma.
BREAKING: Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton has signed a massive multi-year shoe deal with Puma to become a future face of the company. 📄✍️
When he entered the league, Haliburton signed a deal with Nike that saw him rocking various silhouettes over the last few years. During the lead-up to the Summer Olympics, Tyrese even helped debut new Nike Kobe Team USA PEs. However, when he attended NBA Media Day, many were shocked when Haliburton chose to wear a pair of black loafers and flip his socks inside out to hide the Nike logo.
Puma has no shortage of NBA stars on its roster, though according to DePaula, Haliburton is said to be the “future face” of the brand’s basketball division. As of now, LaMelo Ball has filled that role, with the Charlotte Hornets star recently debuting his fourth signature sneaker, the MB.04. Unfortunately, LaMelo has dealt with a series of injuries over the last two seasons, and Puma may be looking to Haliburton to fill his role in the future.
Throughout the upcoming NBA seasons, we expect to see Tyrese rock the latest Puma Hoops gear and maybe even some of Salehe Bembury’s work with the brand, which will launch shortly. Though the terms of the deal were not confirmed, we may eventually see a Tyrese Haliburton signature sneaker if his star power continues to grow.
