The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Returns With Two Versions Summer 2025

This year might be the most stacked regarding releases from Jordan Brand. Many OG colorways across the Air Jordan lineup are slated to return in 2025 as the label celebrates the 40th birthday of the first signature sneaker from Michael Jordan, but there’s more up Jordan Brand’s sleeves. The brand is bringing back one of the most coveted Air Jordans of all time, the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4.

In 2005, Jordan Brand and sneaker boutique Undefeated collaborated to create an MA-1 flight jacket-inspired colorway of the Air Jordan 4, limited to 72 pairs. In addition to the pair's ultra-exclusive nature, it was the first time an outside partner collaborated on any Air Jordan product. Rumors spawned last year saying the pair was set to return, though we have heard this multiple times and have seen various samples emerge that were never released to the public. Now, Sole Retriever can confirm that two different versions of the model will be released in Summer 2025.

Pictured here is an early factory sample of one version of the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4, featuring Nike Air on the heel. A second iteration will come with the Jumpman logo on the heel, the same branding found on the sneaker's original version. In this photo, the upper comes constructed from a deep green suede, with orange accents popping along the Velcro-laden Jumpman patch on the tongue.

While the early photo is not the best quality, it should be noted that it has been edited and is likely not the final version that will be released to the public. It's also unknown at this time how the release will go down, considering there are two different variants. It's possible Nike and Undefeated will release the Nike Air variant while retailers will get the Jumpman version, though your guess is as good as ours.

The Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 Retro SP will release in the two versions mentioned above in Summer 2025. The exact release method for the Nike Air and Jumpman version of the Undefeated Jordan 4 has not been revealed. Both pairs will retail for $225 in men's sizing.
