The reintroduction of the iconic Converse Weapon began with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design earlier in 2023. Now, the shoe's legacy continues to grow as Converse has joined hands with streetwear powerhouse Undefeated to launch a fresh duo of colorways.
Drawing inspiration from an earlier appearance at Paris Fashion Week, the Undefeated x Converse Weapon "White Chive" carries a vintage white leather composition. This silhouette's character lies in its juxtaposition. While the upper maintains a pristine facade, the base layer revels in contrasting olive green tones peeking through Converse logo cut-outs on the midfoot. The collar bathed entirely in the same green, stands out with authority.
Undefeated's unmistakable touch is evident throughout, from the Y-strap branding on the lateral side to the defiant "Play Dirty" motto gracing the medial side. The tongue tag is adorned with Undefeated's signature 5-strike logo, and the same motif finds its home on the heel tab. Adding to the story, the words "Play Dirty" repeat on the flip side of the tongue tag. Completing the design, a creamy rubber midsole stamped with Converse branding in green aligns perfectly with a durable black rubber outsole.
The Undefeated x Converse Weapon White Chive will release September 14, 2023, through Nike SNKRS, Converse, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $140.
