The Converse Weapon is experiencing a resurgence in its OG form. Recently revived with the help of Hiroshi Fujiwara and his fragment label, Converse is again tasking an outside label to help bring the silhouette some hype. Undefeated is now taking on the archival basketball silhouette, as Eric Peng Chen shared images of the upcoming collaboration. Following this, official images of the sneaker appeared.
The Undefeated x Converse Weapon showcases a tasteful blend of cream and tan hues, a departure from the vibrant colorways that dominated the model's heyday in the 1980s. The cream leather upper is embossed with Undefeated's branding, featuring its trademark "Play Dirty" slogan on the medial side, the brand’s name on the lateral, and the renowned five-strike logo on the heel. The shoe is finished off with a cream-colored midsole and a tan outsole. Alongside this rendition, a "White Chive" colorway has also emerged.
The Undefeated x Converse Weapon White Khaki will release September 14, 2023 through Undefeated and possibly through Converse and Nike SNKRS. The retail price is set at $140.
