New Balance and Japanese retailer UNITED ARROWS have a storied past when it comes to collaborative sneakers. Creating some of the most iconic versions of the 99X series and recently working on a 990v3, the two are now coming together to create a fresh iteration of the New Balance 9060.
The UNITED ARROWS x New Balance 9060 arrives in an all-white color scheme, exuding a clean, sleek aesthetic that matches the ethos of both collaborators. The upper mixes suede, leather, and mesh — creating a layered, textured look on the Y2K-inspired silhouette. The tonal white laces complement the mesh layer, while the suede panels adopt a greyish white. More true grey accents highlight the branding window atop the tongue, the TPU eyelet, and the heel's NB logo. The lateral side showcases a plain white "N" logo, while the medial side features a patterned version. Everything comes completed with a chunky white foam midsole featuring grey hits on the lateral side and a black rubber outsole.
The UNITED ARROWS x New Balance 9060 will release May 11 through UNITED ARROWS and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at ¥24,200 (approx $180).
