In case you have been living under a rock, Barbie has taken over. With the recent premiere of the Barbie movie captivating audiences worldwide, the iconic doll has sparked a resurgence in pink-based fashion, design, and footwear. In an exciting announcement, Vans has jumped on the bandwagon with its upcoming Barbie collection.
Barbie's world gets translated onto four different Vans silhouettes, including the Authentic Stackform, Sk8-Hi Stackform, Style 93 DX, and Slide-On VR3Cush. The first three sneakers in the collection feature a combination of white and pink across their designs and Barbie details, including added stars and Barbie branding. The Slide-On VR3Cush features a trippy green, blue, and pink pattern throughout its design and Barbie branding on the footbed.
The Barbie x Vans collection will release in July 27, 2023 through Vans and select retailers online and in-store. Sizing and pricing information has yet to be announced.
