Asics has dominated 2024, with silhouettes like the Asics Gel-NYC being some of the most popular GR models in the streets. Hit colorway after hit colorway has come from Asics, including an upcoming collaboration with anime BLEACH and GR colorways like the Pink Cream. Now, Asics has given European retailer Zalando an exclusive two-pack of colorways for 2025.
Both pairs in the pack feature a neutral base consisting of cream and white hits, accented by pops of color on select details. One pair comes with burgundy, brown, and pink hues, the latter lining the suede on the Asics tiger stripe and the former coming as part of the leather reinforcements near the toe, midfoot, heel, and tongue. On the other pair, we see cream white applied to the leather paneling, while the Asics tiger stripe comes with navy blue suede details.
Other pops of color appear on the Asics logo on the tongue, lateral heel, and heel tab, each taking on the accenting color of the tiger stripes. Aside from the colors on the Gel inserts along the sole unit, the rest of the sneaker, including the foam midsole, is coated in cream and white hues. The tonal rubber outsole finishes the design.
The Zalando-exclusive Asics Gel-NYC Pack will release in the early parts of 2025 exclusively through Zalando online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
