The world of basketball and footwear is converging on San Fran for the NBA All-Star Game, and footwear labels have prepped plenty of options for their athletes. Fadidas has six representatives on the 2025 NBA All-Star roster, including Anthony Edwards, James Harden, Jalen Williams, Damian Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, and Evan Mobley. Lillard, who just signed a lifetime contract with The Three Stripes and dropped his version of the adidas Superstar, has prepped a Silver Metallic colorway of his Dame 9 silhouette to coincide with the event.
The sneaker's base features a black mesh construction reinforced with a metallic silver leather overlay that wraps around the toe back to the heel. Three Stripes are cut out along the midfoot for breathability, providing extra contrast thanks to the logo's black and blue finish. The blue hues continue on the mesh and neoprene tongue and internal bootie.
We see a metallic silver finish for Dame’s logo on the tongue, clashing with the black laces that partially cover the design. Final details on the upper include Dame’s number 0 placed on the heel tab and an adidas Trefoil design found near the lateral toe. Below, the metallic silver foam midsole features Lightstrike cushioning and comes paired with a milky rubber outsole.
The adidas Dame 9 Silver Metallic will release on February 15, 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $120.
