Emily Oberg and adidas have built a solid relationship through the Sporty & Rich label’s collaborative efforts with The Three Stripes. Coming off a three-pack of Handball Spezial colorways in February, the duo is back to work on the Adistar Cushion.
At first glance, you wouldn’t be wrong to assume the pair is one of the many GR renditions of the mesh runner, as Sporty & Rich opts for a neutral greyscale color palette for its latest Adistar Cushion. However, added branding details for Sporty & Rich appear below the Trefoil on the tongue, lateral heel overlay, and insole. Reflective and metallic silver paneling runs across the upper, resting above the white open-cell mesh base.
Three Stripes detailing on the midfoot continues the metallic silver contrast, as the home for nylon loops that hold the white lace set in place. Finishing the upper are metallic silver leather toe caps and greyscale overlays on the heel. Down below, the adiPRENE+-cushioned foam midsole comes in white and grey and is paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Sporty & Rich x adidas Adistar Cushion will release in April 2025, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
