Music icon, tastemaker, and now-head of men’s fashion at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams, still finds time between his busy schedule to work with long-time partner adidas on footwear releases. While the output from the duo has most definitely slowed down, with 2024 playing host to only two different drops from Pharrell’s Human Race line, one being a Samba Collection and the other his take on the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1, 2025 will see a brand-new model from Williams. Previewed at Paris Fashion Week is the all-new adidas Jellyfish silhouette.
Taking its inspiration from chunky dad shoes and mesh runners, the model is not too far off from the Adistar Cushion or Response CL. Three-dimensional cut-outs and TPU panels are on the midfoot, extending from the lightweight mesh base to form koi fish-like black, cream, and orange patterns. The aquatic, fish-like inspiration is quite apparent from the back, as these organically shaped panels appear to have gill-like designs.

When viewed from the top, the model almost resembles a Balenciaga Triple S with its chunky and enlarged proportions and the thick rope lacing system. Along the tongue, we can see custom Jellyfish branding alongside adidas and Virgina logos, the latter a nod to the home state of Pharrell Williams. These same designs also grace the insole. The cream foam midsole finishes the design paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Pharrell Williams x adidas Jellyfish has no confirmed release date but will likely drop before the end of 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
