Last year, adidas introduced its ultimate super shoe in the running category with the Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1. The $500 ultra-lightweight silhouette is 40% lighter than its predecessors. It features a semi-transparent featherweight mesh and a Lightstrike Pro foam constructed with a non-compression molding method for reduced weight. While we have yet to see a follow-up to the initial colorway, long-time adidas partner Pharrell Williams is launching his colorway on the sneaker.
First spotted on the feet of Pharrell during the Summer 2024 Olympics, the sneaker retains all of the advanced technological features that put the silhouette in a category of its own. The featherweight upper comes in a white finish, with the Three Stripes taking on a multi-color brown, blue, and green finish. Lace aglets also provide a pop of color with green used, matching the Adizero branding on the lateral heel. More Adizero branding is found on the tongue, and a blue makeover matches the middle of the Three Stripes logo. Even with the Pharrell connection, adidas omits any branding details for the superstar designer and artist. Below, the silhouette comes with a Lightstrike Pro foam midsole with a tonal white finish and a black outsole.
The Pharrell Williams x adidas Adizero Adios Pro Evo 1 Earth will release on November 2, 2024, at an in-store pop-up in NYC at adidas’ 5th Avenue storefront.
