Nike and Jordan Brand have long sponsored the Chinese High School Basketball League, dropping commemorative sneakers that pay homage to the international talent pool of Chinese basketball prodigies. Following up on the GT Cut 3 that hit shelves last year, the league is now getting another sneaker — this time with a Jordan Luka 3 colorway.
Across this CHBL-inspired iteration of the Luka 3, we see a mixture of white, orange pulse, crimson tint, and vapor green, with the wavy striations on the white textile overlay inspired by the speed of high-performance vehicles. Pops of orange land on the mesh paneling of the tongue and the medial toe, matching the textured leather around the collar and heel. Vapor Green marks the branding atop the tongue, which splits between Luka’s logo on the right pair and the CHBL’s All-Star logo on the right and along the TPU reinforcements of the Isoplate on the midfoot and toe.

Below, the midsole is packed with cushioning, featuring an exposed Cushlon 3.0 foam in green on the medial side. Also present on the midsole are Chinese characters, which roughly translates to “Mom, I’m a star.” Finishing the look is the white and orange finish on the lateral midsole and the multi-color rubber outsole below.
The Jordan Luka 3 CHBL All-Star will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
