James Whitner's A Ma Maniere continues to make waves in the sneaker world through its impactful collaborations with Nike. Known for merging luxury aesthetics with streetwear elements, A Ma Maniere has delivered some of the most coveted releases in recent years. This partnership is set to continue in Spring 2025 with the release of another Air Max 95, which follows up on the brand’s successful Holiday 2024 Air Max 95 drop, and preceding the Summer 2025 release.
After Sole Retriever confirmed this upcoming pair last year, images of this Black Violet Ore colorway have appeared. Like the last pair, premium materials envelope the entire upper, including tumbled leather, perforated suede, smooth leather, and smooth suede. Black leather lands on the toecap and runs along the bottom half of the wavy paneled upper, separated from the violet ore, blue, and green-tinted suede panels by black zig-zag stitching.

A Ma Maniere branding details are present on the lateral toecap in gold, along the tongue in violet ore, and stamped on the heel just below the debossed Nike Air logo. While the original pair featured another instance of A Ma Maniere branding on the medial collar with an "A" logo, this pair opts to represent the brand's Hand Wash Cold, which is their social outreach program. Finishing the design of the sneaker is the tonal foam midsole with Air units in the heel and forefoot and the black outsole with A Ma Maniere branding in the center.
The A Ma Maniere x Nike Air Max 95 Black Violet Ore will release March 29, 2025, through A Ma Maniere online. An early access release exclusive to women will take place in-store on March 22. On top of this, A Ma Maniere, Social Status, and APB are all hosting EQL raffles for the pair. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
