Nike’s latest innovation in Air Max cushioning, the Dynamic Air unit, debuted last year in the Air Max DN. For 2025, they’ve expanded the Dynamic Air family with the DN8, which extends the Dynamic Air unit across the entire length of the sole unit. While we’re looking forward to a men’s and women’s colorway for Air Max Day, a vibrant Team Orange pair is set to hit shelves shortly after in early April.
Multiple gradient patterns are present on the sneaker, starting with the mesh base, starting in a bright orange/yellow shade at the top, and transitioning into a darker orange finish near the sole unit. Slashes made of Nexkin mesh on the midfoot also partake in the gradient pattern, though this one has a red-to-black finish. Solid red hits contrast the mudguard and heel, while solid black details appear on the TPU heel counter, Swoosh, and Air Max logos.

Felt suede lines the eyelets, using a laser orange finish that matches the laces, tongue, and sockliner. Final details on the upper include a mini Swoosh on the vamp, Dynamic Air branding on the heel (inspired by the Tuned Air logo), and a 3M reflective coating on the Air Max logo and portions of the eyelets. Below sits a red foam midsole with black Dynamic Air units, four chambers in the front half and four in the back half, and a black, orange, and red rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max DN8 Team Orange will release on April 4, 2025, through Nike and Foot Locker online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $190.
