Arguably one of the most popular silhouettes in sneakers, the Nike Dunk Low continues receiving new colorways on what seems like a daily basis. Following the recent reveal of the “Black Grey Volt” and more premium “Light Smoke Grey,” another neutral colorway has appeared… with a twist. Adding washed denim details to the Dunk Low, the “Sail Washed Denim” colorway has just received its first look.
Dressing the upper is a series of tumbled leather overlays with a combination of white, sail, and washed denim on the various parts of the sneaker. White tumbled leather is seen on the mudguard, toebox, quarter panel, heel overlay, and heel tab. Providing some contrast to this is the sail laces and tongue, adding an aged aesthetic to the otherwise crisp upper. One of the most significant changes compared to a standard Dunk is the washed denim on the Swoosh and collar portions. Other branding details, like the tongue tag and heel, get dressed in a blue similar to denim jeans. Sail hits on the sockliner and midsole finish the aged look, while the gum rubber outsole completes the design.
The Nike Dunk Low Sail Washed Denim will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $110.
