Kevin Durant’s Nike KD 4 will go down as one of the greatest Nike Basketball models of all time thanks to its affordable price point and legendary colorways. In 2024, Nike began retroing the KD 4 and has since brought back a slew of original colorways like the Galaxy, Scoring Title, Aunt Pearl, and Nerf. Now, Holiday 2025 will feature a retro of the Texas Longhorns colorway.
When the KD 4 was initially released, Durant paid homage to his alma mater, the University of Texas, through a Longhorns-inspired colorway featuring the school’s color scheme and their logo atop the tongue. Luckily, fans will have another chance at securing the pair as it will return in OG fashion. Desert Orange shades coat the entire upper, while pops of white appear on the medial midfoot, Swoosh logos on the lockdown strap and vamp, the Texas Longhorns logo on the tongue, and the heel. The orange and white foam midsole finishes the design with a white rubber outsole.
The Nike KD 4 Texas Longhorns will release Holiday 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
