While all eyes are on the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 95, another classic Air Max is also celebrating a milestone birthday in 2025, the Air Max 90. A Tinker Hatfield classic, the AM 90 turns 35, and while its hype may not be at an all-time high, the coveted silhouette is still an all-time favorite amongst sneakerheads. With that in mind, Nike is set to drop plenty of Air Max 90s throughout the year, from GRs to limited releases and everything in between.
To kick things off for Spring 2025, the Nike Air Max 90 is back with a twist on the original Infrared edition. This pair comes in a Reverse Infrared iteration with carbon fiber upgrades. Black carbon fiber brings premium vibes throughout the sneaker and is found via the toe, tongue, mudguard, and wrapping around the heel.
This design adds a unique twist to this classic pair, highlighted by infrared, aka bright crimson accents in their traditional places. Cool Grey suede adorns the overlays while a photon dust Swoosh is on the sides. Visible Max Air cushioning is seen via the crimson-colored wedge, surrounded by a white midsole. The classic solid rubber outsole in black and crimson completes the look.
The Nike Air Max 90 Carbon Fiber Infrared is set to release on February 25, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, retail is $140.
