After reviving the Air Max Sunder with a CDG collaboration in 2022, the archival Air Max model returned to the GR scene once Nike began to retro the sneaker in 2024. Since then, the sneaker has launched in various color schemes, most sticking to the traditional colorblocking and material makeup. Adding a new feature to the silhouette is the upcoming Reflective Silver rendition.
At first glance, things appear like most Sunder colorways as we see a neoprene mesh base layer in a single shade alongside a contrasting nubuck mudguard. However, the entire silver neoprene is coated in a reflective 3M material, making the whole sneaker shine once hit with flash. Outside of this, the same Sunder we all know and love remains, including the TPU plugs on the black nubuck mudguard, the mini Swoosh logo on the collar, and the nylon pull tabs.

Lacing is concealed via the zipper shroud, which, when opened, reveals a nod to the Y2K era. Here, the numbers 6, 4, 5, and 3 are written out, spelling out Nike on an old keypad on Blackberrys and other cellphones from the 2000s. Down below, the model has a white foam midsole featuring exposed Air units in the heel and forefoot and a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max Sunder Reflective Silver W will release on February 26, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is $200.
