Puma is no stranger to collaborations, as the fourth-largest footwear brand on the planet has teamed up with the likes of Rocket League, atmos, Squid Game, Polar Express, and many more over the last few years. Next month, the German sportswear label plans to launch a collaborative capsule of sneakers with the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series consisting of four pairs from LaMelo Ball’s signature basketball line. On top of these pairs and the special Shredder iteration of the MB.04, Puma is also launching lifestyle models with TMNT, like this Krang-inspired Suede XL.
The villainous Krang (or Kraang), who also has his own Puma MB.03 Low colorway, has his brain texture translated onto the Puma Suede XL through the quilted pink finish on most of the upper. Contrasting this textured look are smooth suede panels on the eyelets, tongue, and Formstrip, the former two taking on a tonal pink finish. Pops of purple land on the suede Formstrip and the mesh sockliner, while the lace set has a yellow finish.

Krang’s eyes are represented through the top eyelet, while the lacing setup comes with charms that depict Krang, spell out his name, and honor the TMNT series itself. Other nods to TMNT are found on the tongue tag, insole, and the City Sewer-branded hang tag. The pink rubber midsole finishes the sneaker and is paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Puma Suede XL Krang will release in 2025 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
