WNBA star A'ja Wilson and Nike recently announced that Wilson would receive her signature sneaker, the Nike A'One, which will debut in 2025. As anticipation builds for her signature line and coming off the reveal of her logo, Wilson continues to showcase her unique style with exclusive PE colorways of existing Nike models. The latest addition to her impressive lineup is a Nike LeBron 21 PE, inspired by the iconic superhero Static Shock, the first Black superhero to have an animated series.
The design of this special edition LeBron 21 draws heavily from the vibrant aesthetics of Virgil Hawkins, aka Static Shock. The shoe features a vibrant royal blue suede upper, mimicking the look of Static's superhero suit. This rich blue color covers the 360-degree cabling system beneath the suede panel, providing a sleek and cohesive appearance.
The midfoot is adorned with a white embroidered Swoosh, accented with purple electric bolt detailing along its edge, reflecting Static's electric powers. Additional pops of color come in the form of yellow top eyelets and tongue lining, matching the lining of Static Shock's signature jacket. Completing the design is a black and blue foam midsole paired with a yellow rubber outsole, ensuring comfort and style.
Unfortunately, A’ja Wilson’s Nike LeBron 21 Static Shock PE will remain exclusive to the WNBA star.
