With his flamboyant personality and eclectic style, Action Bronson is no stranger to the sneaker world. After his exciting takes on the 990v6 with New Balance, including the "Lapis Lazuli" colorway, the acclaimed rapper and former chef has been spotted wearing his own 1906R. Alongside this Scorpius colorway, Bronson has crafted a Baklava Blue and Rosewater pair of the same silhouette.
Adhering to a similar color scheme to his previous collaboration, Action Bronson’s New Balance 1906R flaunts a vivacious volt green upper constructed from textured suede that mimics the tactile feel of mesh. Grey leather overlays subtly complement the vibrant tone and maintain the usual triangular shape. A touch of earthy brown graces the sockliner, vamp, and mudguard, providing an intriguing color dynamic. The bold '1906R' branding dominates the black tongue, while the 'N' logo sports a tri-color finish in silver, white, and black. Rounding off the upper is the TPU heel counter in an electrifying shade of volt green. All of this rests atop a grey midsole and outsole.
The Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R Scorpius will release June 7, 2024, via Action Bronson's website. At this time, it's unknown if this pair will be released through other means.
