Action Bronson, the multifaceted entertainer and gourmet chef, continues his foray into the sneaker world with his latest collaboration with New Balance. Having already made waves with the 990v6 in two vibrant colorways, one in Lapis Lazuli and the other in a Multi-Color option, Bronson is gearing up to expand his portfolio with the New Balance 1906R. Earlier in the year, he teased us with a Blue and a Volt rendition but has now given us a taste of the third pair in his collection with the Rosewater colorway.
Teased on Action Bronson's Instagram, the Rosewater iteration of the 1906R is a stunning blend of colors. Following a teaser of only the bottom of the sneaker, Action Bronson shared an on-foot image of his upcoming 1906R. Action Bronson's Rosewater 1096R features a pink base complemented by a bright pink TPU heel overlay and a silver/blue "N" logo, adding a touch of elegance and flair. The most striking feature of the Rosewater 1906R is the inclusion of volt green laces, offering a bold contrast against the pink upper.
Following this, in-hand images showed a semi-translucent ripstop TPU covering the mesh and leather base. This upper comes in a creamy hue, while pink hits are found on the tongue, midfoot, and heel. Suede is on the toe in a grey shade and on the "N" branded vamp. Branding for Action Bronson is located on the insole, with Baklava and New Balance logos alongside one another. We see orange mesh on the heel, matching the foam midsole's hue. According to Bronson, the 1906R Rosewater draws inspiration from Women's aerobics.
The Action Bronson x New Balance 1906R Rosewater was first released on May 31, 2024, through Action Bronson's website. A wider release via New Balance will take place on July 12, 2024.
