Originally known as the KB8 during Kobe Bryant's tenure with adidas, the adidas Crazy 8 has long been celebrated for its bold design and unique aesthetic. This model has seen various OG and new colorways over the last year, capturing the attention of sneakerheads worldwide. With the Summer Olympics unfolding in Paris, adidas seizes the moment to honor the host city and its vibrant basketball culture with this special edition of the Crazy 8.
The adidas Crazy 8 Paris Basketball features a sophisticated black suede upper, offering a sleek and classic look. The shoe's standout element is the Tricolore detailing, with red, white, and blue patent leather accents on the midfoot, representing the French flag. This nod to France continues with Paris Basketball branding prominently displayed on the tongue tag, alongside more red, white, and blue touches on the sockliner, tongue tag, pull tabs, and adidas branding near the heel. The design is completed with a white foam midsole equipped with EVA cushioning and a torsion bar, paired with a red and white rubber outsole for added traction and comfort.
The adidas Crazy 8 Paris Basketball will release on August 1, 2024, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
