adidas is pushing the Forum Low to new heights with a new XLG variant featuring a revised x-shaped overlay, elevated platform soles, and a double tongue ripe with details. adidas isn’t reserving the XLG to one model, as this Superstar XLG is due to launch July 17. The Forum XLG has been confirmed for two colorways in women's sizing, with options for yellow or black accents atop a smooth white leather base.
A double-stitched x-shaped overlay featuring the Trefoil logo spans the lateral quarter and crosses over slightly onto the vamp. Underneath lies color-blocked overlays that match the Three Stripes to the right of them. Bold leather overlays are applied to the heel and toe areas to conclude upper construction. The lower tongue features a color blocked tag, while the top layer has three colored trefoil logos trickling down towards the toe. A hulking platform midsole appears almost double the size of a normal Forum, while the off-white midsole matches the sockliner.
Both versions of the adidas Forum XLG are set to release this summer through adidas and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
