Despite the decline in interest in ‘80s basketball sneakers, adidas continues offering new renditions of the Forum Low. While it has been some time since we’ve seen a collaboration on the sneaker—most recently in July when Deadpool & Wolverine teamed up on multiple adidas sneakers—the women’s-focused basketball community Hoop York City is launching its version of the iconic on-court model.
Following up on their adidas Rivalry Low and Crazy 8 Low collabs from the end of 2024, this new Hoop York City adidas Forum Low sticks to a neutral color palette featuring off-white and silver-green hues throughout the upper. Premium leather in an off-white shade covers most of the paneling, while silver-green hues are found on the sockliner and leather underlay on the back half of the sneaker. For the Three Stripes, Hoop York City applies a silver-blue and burgundy finish to the logo, contrasting the golden HYC logo nearby.

Co-branded details for adidas and Hoop York City land on the silver-green insole, while the tongue tag opts for a single Trefoil logo. Finishing the upper is the off-white hairy suede panel running from the heel to the midfoot of the medial side. Down below, the midsole has an off-white finish and exposed Dellinger Webbing on the medial side, paired with a silver-green rubber outsole.
The Hoop York City x adidas Forum Low Off White will release in May 2025 through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
