Over the last few years, wear away uppers have become commonplace on numerous Nike silhouettes ranging from the SB Dunk to the Air Force 1. Now the Air Jordan 1 Mid is getting the same treatment, coming in a familiar Chicago-style colorblocking once worn away.
The Jordan 1 Mid Wear away features white leather across the toebox, midfoot panel, and collar, accenting black leather overtakes the mudguard, eyelet, Nike Swoosh and heel overlays. Tonal stitching throughout keeps things familiar, though once worn away, the black overlays reveal a varsity red look. Branding remains true to form with the Jordan Wings logo printed in black as well as the previously mentioned black Swoosh. Rounding things out is the sail midsole and black rubber outsole combo.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid Wear Away is set to release on August 24th, 2022 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $135 for men.
