Jordan Brand has experimented with hybrid designs over its history, with many of these often falling flat on their face. Very few of these models have seen major success, and many believe the latest fusion, the Jordan 2/3, will break this cycle. Combining the upper of the Jordan 2 Low and the sole unit of the Jordan 3, the model has appeared in White Varsity Red and White Black with a White Uni Blue Midnight Navy coming later this year.
This colorway dons a crisp white leather upper, which is a perfect canvas for the striking university blue and midnight navy accents that pay homage to classic Jordan color schemes. The university blue elegantly adorns the midfoot panel, heel tab, and the iconic Wings logo on the tongue, injecting a vibrant pop of color. Midnight Navy complements the design, enriching the sockliner, tongue lining, and the latter half of the Jordan 3's sole unit, enhancing the shoe's visual appeal. Standard AJ2 Low details remain on the upper, including the perforations around the toe and TPU heel counter. The sail and midnight navy Jordan 3 midsole with a university blue and sail rubber outsole round out the design.
The Air Jordan 2/3 White Uni Blue Midnight Navy will release in November 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and grade school sizing, the retail price is set at $160 for men and $120 for GS sizes.
