Every summer, the streets of Paris are filled with basketball enthusiasts for the Quai54 streetball tournament. Offering a unique blend of basketball, culture, and community, Nike and Jordan Brand have long sponsored the event. Both labels release special-edition sneakers to commemorate the occasion, this year including the Air Jordan 1 Low OG and an Air Jordan 2 Retro Low.
Mirroring the color scheme of the AJ1 Low, the Air Jordan 2 Retro Low Quai54 sports a mixture of white, green, red, yellow, and black hues. White leather covers the mudguard, toe, midfoot panel, heel, and tongue, while tonal white laces and plastic eyestays continue the clean aesthetic. Standing out against this crisp backdrop is a black Jordan Wings logo on the tongue and a co-branded Quai54 and Jumpman tag in yellow on the midfoot. Back on the heel's TPU overlay comes a split green and red finish, contrasting the black sockliner. The insole contains graphics with red and green triangles alongside Nike Air branding, and the shoe comes with a hang tag denoting the tournament's 20th anniversary this year. The look is complete with a black midsole and a tan, red, and yellow outsole.
The Air Jordan 2 Retro Low Quai54 will release in July through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Offered in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
