The Air Jordan 4 is undoubtedly one of the most popular Jordan Brand models of all time. Since its debut in 1989, the sneaker has been released in numerous colorways, with some being more elusive than others. OG colorways like Bred, Fire Red, and White Cement have been retroed multiple times. In contrast, others like the Military Blue have only seen a few re-releases since their initial debut in 1989. This pair only came back twice, once in 2006 and again in 2012. Now, the sneaker is expected to return a dozen years after its last retro.
Maintaining its OG construction, this AJ4 features an off-white leather upper with grey suede accents around the mudguard. Military Blue hits find a home on the tongue, midfoot, and eyestays, with Jumpman branding on the tongue also covered in military blue. The back heel tab comes in military blue and features Nike Air text as opposed to the previous retros that hosted a Jumpman logo. Underfoot sits the iconic AJ4 midsole in military blue and white with an Air unit in the heel. Rounding out the design is the grey, military blue, and white rubber outsole.
After many push backs, the Air Jordan 4 Retro Military Blue will now release on May 4, 2024, through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers. The sneaker will come in full-family sizing, retailing for $215, $160, $100, and $85, respectively.
