Jordan Brand, synonymous with basketball royalty and streetwear culture, has again revisited its roots while embracing the future with the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low. A familiar face seen in stores since its return to the shelves in 2022, this iteration was a modern-day upgrade of the classic Air Jordan 1, redesigned in 2002. After seeing various colorways like Chicago, Palomino, and Cargo Khaki, an all-new Bred iteration is touching down for Summer 2024.
Following in the footsteps of the reimagined Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent Bred released in 2021, the Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Patent Bred sports a timeless black, varsity red, and white color scheme. The shoe showcases red patent leather accents on the toe box and back heel tab for a vibrant pop. Black leather covers the rest of the upper, including the tongue, with a debossed Air Jordan Wings logo on the sides, contributing to its classic appeal. The design is further accented by a white midsole that sits atop a solid red rubber outsole with an icy translucent stripe for added measure.
The Air Jordan Nu Retro 1 Low Patent Bred is set to release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and gradeschool sizing, retail is set at $105 and $90, respectively.
