Following his partner Rihanna's footsteps, A$AP Rocky signed a deal with Puma in October 2023 to become the Creative Director of the brand’s F1 partnership. Since then, we’ve seen the irreverent fashion icon help Puma revive the Inhale silhouette in its OG colorway and prep two distressed sneaker versions. Before getting either of the two new A$AP Rocky Pumas, another collaborative Puma Inhale has emerged in Cream Black.
Similar to the two pairs in the Distressed Pack, this new Inhale has a dirty and worn-in look throughout its design. A worn cream textile base transitions into a grey and black hue as you move back from the toe toward the heel. Above this sits black TPU along the toe and contoured wavy panels in black that come lined in yellow. The Puma formstrip on the midfoot also participates in the gradient parade, beginning in a black shade near the front and ending in a cream hue at its end. Flacko branding for A$AP Rocky is loaded atop the tongue in yellow and blue, matching the custom graphics on the insole. The most significant change here comes via the lacing system, now with speed lacing for easy and quick adjustments. Underfoot sits a white foam midsole with distressed and worn details, an outsole containing zonal rubber traction in black, and a clear TPU transitioning from yellow to blue.
Alongside this new distressed colorway, a mesh-based Black Volt renditions has also appeared. A$AP Rocky branding is present in the same spots as previous pairs, and the upper comes coated primarily in black with volt green and red accents throughout.
The A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale Distressed Cream Black and Black Volt will release November 7, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price for both pairs is set at $120.
