AURALEE, the Japanese fashion house that is making waves internationally, has already had the pleasure to work with New Balance on the 550 and 2002R silhouettes, though it appears a third collaboration between the two is on the horizon. Showcased during the AURALEE Spring/Summer 2023 Collection were multiple colorways of their New Balance RC30 collaboration.
Appearing in two monochromatic colorways, green and beige, the silhouette is covered in hairy suede across the entire upper. Accenting shades on each colorway make their way to the eyestays and collar with tonal laces matching the majority of the sneaker. Lacking any co-branding details (sans the insole), your typical slanted N logo on the midfoot borrows the monochromatic shades keeping in line with the hairy suede construction. The tongue carries the “NB” logo as well with AURALEE's only appearance coming atop the insole. Underfoot, the beige colorway features a semi-translucent rubber midsole and outsole while the green colorway comes in all-back.
The AURALEE x New Balance RC30 “Hunter Green” and “Tan” is set to release on April 14th, 2023 through AURALEE and New Balance in Japan as well as select global retailers like END Clothing.
