The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Essentially Offbeat Pack Releases April 2025
Published
Earlier in the year, New Balance previewed upcoming Made in UK releases thanks to the company’s CMO. Specifically, we saw two pairs of the 991v2, one in Mineral Green and another in Celestial Blue, but there are even more colorways to come from the Flimby, UK, factory. Next up for the 991v2 is the Essentially Offbeat Pack, featuring a Cement Douglas Fir and Licorice Lavender Gray colorway.
Both pairs in the Essentially Offbeat Pack come with the usual premium materials and high-quality craftsmanship synonymous with New Balance’s Made in UK line. Premium pigskin suede hits the mudguard, midfoot panel, collar overlay, and heel overlay, while the base layer comes in a woven mesh. Of course, no 99X model can go without toebox overlays, as seen here in a nubuck finish. As for color palettes, the Cement Douglas Fir pair pairs light tan suedes with a green base layer and pops of light lavender on the toebox overlay, heel tab, and tongue overlay.

We see a similar color scheme for the Licorice Lavender Grey, as the green and lavender hues are on the upper. However, the lavender shade takes over the mesh base, while green is used on the overlays on the toe, tongue, and heel. Suede panels come in a deep, licorice brown hue. The tonal two-tone grey and cream midsoles and dark rubber outsoles encapsulating the FuelCell cushioning system finish both pairs.
The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Essentially Offbeat Pack will release in April 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Both pairs are available in unisex sizing and will retail for $250.
