The footwear from New Balance’s Flimby factory in the United Kingdom has remained an integral part of the brand’s release calendar, specifically with models like the 991v2. This updated iteration of the classic 991 model has become the primary output from the brand’s Made in UK lineup, with collaborative colorways from Salehe Bembury and Kith expected to hit shelves very soon. For the model’s latest inline release, NB is giving it a clean Off White color palette.
As with all Made in UK products, the craftsmanship and material choice are top tier on this Off White colorway, with pigskin suede, mesh, and premium leather used on the upper. A light grey pigskin suede is used on the mudguard, midfoot panel, collar, and heel overlay, contrasting the stark white hues on the mesh base and the leather toebox overlays. More solid white hues grace the lace set, and the leather panels on the tongue host New Balance Made in UK branding.

Silver-grey details are found on the vamp, N logo, TPU eyelets, 991 branding window on the heel, and the heel tab, the latter resting just above the embroidered v2 logo. Final details on the upper include the tonal stitching lining the edge of each panel and the white sockliner. Down below, the FuelCell-cushioned midsole comes in a vintage cream finish, while the rubber outsole takes on a cream-white hue.
The New Balance 991v2 Made in UK Off White will release in March 2025 through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $250.
