Throughout Bad Bunny and adidas' partnership, The Brand With The Three Stripes gives the Puerto Rican superstar free reigns to remix classic models in the vault. Recently, Benito launched his take on the SL 72 silhouette, combining tooling from the Adizero series with the ‘70s running model. However, 2024 also marked a new venture for the duo as the adidas Gazelle was redesigned through the lens of Bad Bunny. Following the launch of the San Juan, Benito, and Lionel Messi colorways, a sample of a pair possibly dropping in 2025 has emerged.

As seen with the previous pairs, the upper features a mixture of suede and leather, with the iconic T-toe overlay getting warped to mimic an archival sample Benito took a liking to on a visit to adidas HQ. Here, the suede and leather paneling primarily comes in a golden yellow hue, contrasted by tan suede along the vamp and eyestays. Cutting across the midfoot are the black serrated leather Three Stripes near the adidas Gazelle stamp on the lateral side.

Cream rope laces work their way up the tongue past the blue and white brand-less patch, contrasting the olive green hue below. This olive extends onto the sockliner, though the collar takes on a more true yellow hue than the golden yellow found on most of the upper. Unlike other colorways on the silhouette, the heel forgoes the size tag, keeping the suede panel clean and branding-free. Finishing the design is the gum rubber midsole and outsole.

This new Bad Bunny x adidas Gazelle Indoor Yellow sample has no confirmed release information, as the pair could remain a sample that does not see a retail release. If the pair does drop in 2025, expect a release via Bad Bunny’s website, adidas Confirmed, and select retailers online and in-store.
