One of the music industry's biggest stars, Bad Bunny, has made hit after hit both in the studio and with his adidas partnership as Benito continues to add his flair to various adidas silhouettes. Recently seeing his first Campus collaboration hitting retail shelves, one of the more lowkey collaborative efforts between BB and adidas is getting another colorway - the adidas Response CL.
While Benito previewed an all-black colorway of his Response CL collab in early 2022 (that eventually released) and previously released a “Yellow” and “Cream” colorway, the reggaeton superstar was photographed courtside at the Lakers game rocking the "Paso Fino” colorway of the same silhouette and later shared another image on his IG story. Like the previously seen pairs, the model features added heart embroidery near the mudguard and drippy panels featured throughout the upper. These suede overlays take on tan hues while underlays are spotted in a shade of chocolate brown. This color also takes over the Three Stripes logo along the midfoot while small accenting hits of purple are seen on the black tongue, portions of the sole unit, and the aglets of the creamy lace set. Rounding out the design is the tan midsole paired with a chocolate brown outsole.
The nickname "Paso Fino" comes from the name of horses found in South American and Caribbean and ties into the theme of Bentio's latest album, "nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana."
The Bad Bunny x adidas Response CL Paso Fino will release on September 22, 2023 exclusively through Aperos 4J, located in Caguas, Puerto Rico. A global launch will take place October 28, 2023 through adidas Confirmed and select retailers online and in-store. Releasing in full-family sizing, the retail price is set at $160 for men's pairs.
