San Benito, better known as Bad Bunny, continues to make significant moves in and out of the music industry. While getting plenty of press lately due to his alleged relationship with Kendal Jenner, sneakerheads keep Benito in mind for his work with adidas which includes a series of reworked adidas Forum Low colorways. Most recently, we’ve seen the Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Low pop up in a colorway honoring the Puerto Rican basketball team “Cangerejeros de Santurce.” Outside of this pair, sample pairs of tonal colorways appeared last year, including a “Green” and “Yellow” rendition, with a new “Orange” version hitting the net.
Keeping the same construction previous Bad Bunny adidas Forums contain, the silhouette gets doused in a series of panels that include leather, suede, and TPU. Tonal orange shades cover every piece of the silhouette (sans the black metallic buckle on the strap), with darker shades on the Three Stripes, suede heel panel, and portions of the internal heel counter. Throughout the rest of the design, we see the usual leather toebox, double-stacked nylon tongue, and nylon strap, all containing various orange shades. Bad Bunny branding gets placed atop the tongue with his third eye logo embroidered into the tag, while the insole hosts a bunny logo next to adidas branding. Other vital details typically found on Bad Bunny collabs, like the puffy collar and bungee cord on the heel, remain. Rounding out the design is the orange-tinted adidas Forum midsole paired with an orange rubber outsole.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Forum Buckle Orange Sample has not received a confirmed release date. However, based on previous colors (like the “White” pair) taking over a year to hit shelves, this pair could eventually make it to market. If it does see a release, expect the pair to retail for $160 in men’s sizing.
