Drake. Rihanna. Eminem. Kevin Durant. Boi-1da has worked with some of the biggest artists in the music industry. Producing hit after hit for Drake, once upon a time, before Kevin Durant was dropping bars on Twitter, he took to the mic and spit bars on a track that Boi-1da produced. Now, the producer goes from vinyl to hardwood as Nike and Kevin Durant give him a dedicated colorway of his latest signature sneaker.
The Boi-1da x Nike KD 15 features a black and green swirl of double-layer mesh to create a unique pattern for the upper. The plastic stability wings are a matte-finish black, featuring the same swirl pattern debossed into the inside portion of the cage, with a Nike Swoosh split between the colors green and pink. The mesh portion of the tongue is covered with black and green laces, while the top of the tongue features perforated black leather with Boi-1da’s signature stitched in orange on the right tongue and the KD logo stitched in green on the left tongue. Black leather is also used on the ankle and heel collar, with orange perforated leather on the heel tab and “86 BPM” in yellow printed onto the heel. The grey midsole sits atop black outsole rubber.
