Kacey Lynch’s Bricks & Wood label has become a standout in the world of collaborative sneaker projects, especially after the success of the New Balance 9060 release in early 2023. The collaborative 9060 quickly became one of the most coveted New Balance drops, showcasing Lynch’s creative vision and New Balance’s commitment to community-centered storytelling. Nearly two years later, Lynch has taken to social media to tease the next chapter of the Bricks & Wood x New Balance partnership.

According to the brand, fans can expect not just one but three upcoming Bricks & Wood x New Balance releases over the coming months. The first hint? A photo of the new packaging features a leafy green color palette, complete with a graphic of a leaf adorned with dew drops, along with signature Bricks & Wood branding.
Following the teaser, Dani Barraza, Bricks & Wood COO, took to Instagram to share photos of the brand's New Balance 1906U collab. Featuring a black base, we see multi-color gradient accents pop across the various overlays on the upper. Yellow hues are present on the lateral toebox overlays and transition into black, while the medial side comes with the same pattern but in pink. More yellow lands on the N logo along the midfoot, and green and aqua gradients are applied to the midfoot and heel panels. As for Bricks & Wood's appearance on the sneaker, the brand's name is applied to the lateral heel overlay, replacing the 1906U logo. Updated lacing is also present, and a lace lock is utilized for easy adjustments on the fly. Underfoot, the sneaker comes complete with a black foam midsole featuring a pop of pink near the heel, paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U will release on October 12, 2024, exclusively through Space(S) by Bricks & Wood in LA. A global launch through New Balance and Bricks & Wood online will take place on the 18th. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $170.
