Following the recent releases of the Jordan 3 Wings and the NYC subway-themed Jordan 1 Mid for kids, the Wings program is set to drop another sneaker just in time for the holiday season with French design school Casa 93.
Casa 93, known for its innovative approach to fashion education, first teamed up with Jordan Brand in 2022 on an apparel capsule collection. The Paris-based design school is now bringing its creative vision to one of the most recognizable silhouettes in sneaker culture—the Air Jordan 1 Mid. This version blends grey hues across the suede and textured leather overlays, creating a sophisticated and modern look. The base layer is constructed from crisp white leather on the toe and midfoot, while the collar is finished in black, adding contrast and depth to the design.
Volt green accents provide a pop of color, lining the edges of the grey panels near the collar, heel, and sockliner, adding an unexpected yet stylish twist. The split-color laces, which transition from white at the bottom to volt green at the top, add a unique detail to the black tongue, where the Jumpman logo is prominently displayed in volt green. Inside the sneaker, split branding on the insoles features the Jordan logo on the right pair and Casa 93's emblem on the left, further emphasizing the collaborative nature of the design. The look is completed with a cream midsole and a black rubber outsole, ensuring this release stands out in style and significance.
The Casa 93 x Air Jordan 1 Mid will release in Holiday 2024 through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $135.
