The partnership between LaMelo Ball and Puma has taken the sneaker world by storm. Their MB series has brought Puma back to the forefront of performance basketball footwear. With a lineup already boasting vibrant editions like Toxic and the upcoming Hills colorway, the brand is about to turn heads once again with a new MB.03 colorway. Following the success of the Rick and Morty collaborations on both the MB.01 and MB.02, another iconic cartoon is set to grace the MB.03 silhouette - Dexter's Laboratory.
The design of the Dexter's Laboratory x Puma MB.03 blends nostalgia and contemporary style. The tie-dye-esque patterns that span the engineered mesh upper present a cascade of colors. Contrasting this vibrancy, the base mesh, collar, lace set, and pull tab are adorned with a mesmerizing black and white motif. For fans of the beloved cartoon, the tongue is a treat: it showcases beakers and various scientific instruments in classic Dexter style.
The heel sports the familiar branding of Melo and Puma, coupled with the Dexter's Laboratory logo, all highlighted in a striking volt green. As you delve inside, the insoles pay homage to Dexter's Laboratory. A fun twist awaits on the reverse of the tongue - Dexter graces the left shoe while his ever-curious sister Dee Dee appears on the right. Completing this nostalgic journey is the black Nitro Foam-infused midsole, which sits atop a durable rubber outsole.
The Dexter's Laboratory x Puma MB.03 will release on December 22, 2023, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in full-family sizing, retail is set at $135, $115, $90, and $80, respectively.
