The Puma LaFrance Written in Chrome Pack Releases March 2025

LaMelo Ball’s signature sneaker line with Puma includes a performance basketball model and a lifestyle sneaker for his off-the-court adventures. Inspired by chunky, high-fashion sneakers and Y2K skate shoes, the LaFrance sneaker has been released in various vibrant color schemes, including the Gifted, Slime, 1 Of 1, and Pink Carpet. However, the latest collection opts for a shiny finish across the Black Written in Chrome and Written in Chrome colorways.

Both pairs feature a monochromatic finish across the upper, one pair opting for a black hue and the other a metallic silver chrome. On the Black colorway, we see a shiny black coat applied to the tumbled leather panels, while smooth black details grace the oval-shaped cutouts on the midfoot. Contrasting hues appear via the LaFrance logos on the lace set, tongue tag, and heel spoiler.

Moving to the Written in Chrome color, we see a metallic silver chrome finish applied to the cracked leather paneling. Tonal silver shades appear on the tongue, sockliner, heel spoiler, and the oval cutouts of the midfoot. Like the other pair, contrasting details appear on the LaFrance logos scattered across the upper. Finishing both pairs are tonal rubber midsoles with various branding details for LaMelo and LaFrance.

The Puma LaFrance Written in Chrome Pack will release on March 12, 2025, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is $110 and $95, respectively.
