Since partnering with adidas a few years back, Disney has been able to bring their iconic characters from their intellectual properties to life in sneaker form. Ranging from Star Wars to Lilo and Stitch, the collaboration has stayed strong. Although the two brands have put Bambi on an adidas Superstar already, the baby deer is now making its way onto an adidas ZX 10,000.
Constructed with a mix of leather, mesh and canvas, the entire silhouette brings Bambi to life with its color palette of cream, brown and salmon. Nods to the 79-year-old beloved deer make their way onto the Three Stripes placed on the midfoot, tongue pull tab, and heel tab through the use of deer spots. Pink piping along the Three stripes and tongue help represent the ears of a deer. Matched to a cream midsole, the gum bottom completes the colorway. Adding further flair, a recycled adidas shoe box with adidas and Disney co-branding features Bambi himself as well as the custom shoe charm.
The Disney x adidas ZX 10,000 Bambi (W) is currently available through select European retailers with a US release slated later in 2022. They will be available via adidas and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, the retail is set at $130.
