Streetwear designer Eric Emanuel may be famous for his basketball shorts and graphic tees but his adidas collaborations have been a low key hit as well. Considering his affinity for basketball, it’s no wonder adidas tapped the New York designer for their McDonald's All-American inspired adidas Forum 84 High.
Comprised of mainly suede across the upper, the light brown hue throughout mimics the packaging you’d find at a standard McDonald’s. Down on the toe box, Eric Emanuel’s “EE” logo comes stamped atop the suede, surrounded by the raw edge of suede in white and red. Red eyelets provide a home for the white flat laces to work up towards the McDonald's All-American Game branded tongue.
Around the midfoot overlays, more McDonald's All-American logos are seen, seemingly cut away from the cross strap, collar and Three Stripes. Back on the blue leather heel tab, the McDonalds branding continues, replacing the standard adidas logo. As seen around the toe box, the raw edge of the suede throughout is covered in the fast food brands iconic red, gold and white. Finishing the look is the off-white midsole with exposed Dellinger webbing paired to a gum and cream-bottomed outsole.
The Eric Emanuel x adidas Forum 84 High McDonald’s All-American is set to be released on July 15th 2022. It will drop at adidas as well as select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. The retail price is set at $130. Keep it locked to our Twitter and Mobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
