Vans’ new OTW label has had quite the last year. After being rebranded from Vault by Vans in 2023, we’ve seen a series of premium releases and collaborations stem from this new outfit, recently launching a pearl-covered pack of Old Skool 36s. Now, Vans OTW is teaming up with women’s magazine and fashion brand HommeGirls, which looks at women’s fashion through a menswear lens, to launch two colorways of the Sk8-Mid.
Keeping things neutral here, HommeGirls creates a White and Black White color scheme. White stitching details grace both pairs, with the Vans jazz stripe on the midfoot taking on a similar appearance to the logo found on the Knu Skool, also coming in a tonal white. On the White pair, we see a checkerboard pattern transitioning between the off-white suede and white leather. Both colors also feature a long, folded tongue, co-branded tongue tags, and laces with HommeGirls logos. Inside, we see more co-branded details, with another nod to HommeGirls and Vans OTW located on the heel of the sole unit. Finishing the design is a white rubber midsole with black piping details and a gum rubber outsole.
