New Balance has seen a massive resurgence in popularity in the mainstream, with the brand housing notable brand ambassadors and collaborators, including Jack Harlow. While the rapper previously had his own PE colorway of the 550 to commemorate his album Come Home The Kids Miss You, images of Harlows take on the ever-popular 1906R have emerged.
Harlow’s take on the New Balance 1906R features a striking floral print across the mesh base, enveloping the shoe in vibrant pink and green hues. This bold pattern is complemented by tonal pink leather overlays on the midfoot and mudguard, which maintain the shoe's structural integrity while adding a touch of elegance. The rear of the sneaker showcases a green TPU heel counter atop a section of brown faux fur, enhancing the texture and depth of the design.
Shortly after an early image of Jack Harlow's New Balance sneaker leaked, Harlow took to Instagram to give an in-hand look at the NB 1906.
Additional luxurious details include satin laces and a matching tongue, both in a darker shade of pink, which contrast beautifully with the playful floral motif. Inside, the sneaker houses special insoles adorned with portraits of a man and woman, each styled in evening wear. Besides this custom graphic, which doesn't host overt Jack Harlow branding, the rest of the sneaker maintains the usual New Balance logos in their rightful places. The design is completed with a supportive green foam midsole and a durable rubber outsole, ensuring both comfort and style are addressed.
