Arguably one of the more prolific collaborators for New Balance, Joe Freshgoods has released hit after hit in regards to storytelling and colorways on staple models like the 990v3 or the newly introduced 9060. Alongside his continued help on the “Conversations Amongst Us” capsule throughout 2022, it seems Joseph Robinson has been cooking up some more releases under the JFG moniker with the man himself teasing an upcoming Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 “Performance Art" Pack.
With his prior collaborations falling under a themed story like “Inside Voices,” or “Outside Clothes,” the latest installment is being dubbed “Performance Art.” As of this writing, the storytelling details behind this have yet to be revealed, though as we approach the release expect to see more explanation on the meaning behind the title. For the sneakers, we only have a few glimpses, seen in pink/grey and an olive/grey covered 993 that utilizes a mixture of mesh and suede across the upper. Expect JFG co-branding details and premium materials to take over throughout the whole sneaker. For its sole unit, the typical two-tone design is visible on the pink pair with cream and pink being paired with an all-pink rubber outsole while the olive variant chooses a similarly shaded cream across the Abzorb-cushioned midsole.
The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 993 Performance Art in the Arctic Blue and Sage colorways are slated to release worldwide on October 21st, 2022 with Powder Pink remaining exclusive to Joe Freshgoods online and in-store. Beginning October 4th and ending October 7th, a raffle at JFG's Every Now & Then storefront will take place via a donation drive. Check below for what items will be accepted. Releasing in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $220.
